I was not very happy with a few things regarding my job, so I had made my mind to leave my current job as soon as possible without having a new job.
I just wanted to write my experience while attending a lot of technical interviews.
So here we go
-
GoJek - First round, code submission for Parking Lot problem (code is available on internet).
I did submitted the solution after spending 4-5 hours, but I guess the solution was not well structured and did not pass their automated tests.
Since I was already working and doing this assignment after office, I was not ready to spend any more time on fixing the packaging for the solution.
So that was the end for GoJek interview.
-
Target - Went for interview without preparation, I was asked the expected interview questions.
Probably they were looking for a senior person or may be I was not able to prove that I know the stuff.
-
MatchMove - Got selected, I was offered the job but I was not very sure about the work and had some hesitation. So I declined the job offer.
-
Kuliza & Zscaler - Got selected for DevOps Engineer, was offered the job but still I was not very sure about joining. Finally I decided to decline the job offer.
-
DigitalOcean - I was interviewed for Platform Support Specialist, after 4-5 phone screenings, I got selected
but I declined the job offer, as the job role was different.
-
Rakuten - Whiteboard interview after a written paper with MCQ, didn't do well in coding interview.
-
GE Healthcare - Couple of rounds of technical interviews, I was able to answer most of the questions.
I was offered the job but joining date was a bit late.
So I was attending other interviews while having this offer as a kind of backup.
-
Hiver - Even though I was not able to solve/answer most of the problems but definitely a good interview experience.
-
McAfee - One phone interview, mostly questions related to architecting system in cloud.
-
Amazon - My bad, went for interview without preparing, didn't do well in coding interview.
-
NetApp - Mostly questions on data structures and problem solving, I didn't do very well.
But I must say NetApp bangalore office is one of the best offices in the town.
-
Merck - Was asked some interesting questions and some cookie cutter interview questions.
I was little shocked when I was told that you can wear Jeans only on friday (or some other specific day)
And wearing a hat is kind of not liked in the office. Anyway a good interview experience.
Finally I decided to go ahead with job offer from GE Healthcare :)
