Kura River, Tbilisi

Got up early, packed my bags, checked-out from the hostel and walked to Borjomi Bus station. There was a marshrutka ready to depart to Tbilisi, paid 12 GEL for the ticket and got into marshrutka, it departed at 8 AM. Reached Didube Bus station around 10 AM, took the metro to reach my hostel, checked-in to the hostel, ate food and drank some tea.

In the afternoon, I walked to Tbilisi Juma Mosque, I arrived a little late for the prayer, luckily got a place. Prayed Jummah and came back to hostel, ate food and took some rest. In the evening, I walked to the famous Holy Trinity Cathedral, also called Sameba, definitely the most beautiful cathedral I have ever seen.

From Sameba I walked to Avlabari Metro station which was nearby, took the metro to reach Marjanishvili Metro station, walked on Davit Agmashenebeli Avenue, it is a long cobblestone street with lots of shops on both the sides of the street. I saw a lot of Arab people in that area and a few Arabian restaurants. Also visited Heroes Square (it is in the middle of an intersection of roads) and the Memorial of Georgian soldiers killed in the Russian-Georgian War in Abkhazia.

On my way back to hostel, I took the bus to reach Station Square metro station, took the metro to reach Liberty Square metro station and then walked to my hostel, bought some food items from SPAR supermarket, ate food, drank tea and called it a day.
