Borjomi

In morning, I took a marshrutka from Borjomi to Akhaltsikhe, reached Akhaltsikhe Bus station at 10 AM, bought the ticket to Vardzia for 8 GEL, Vardzia marshrutka departed at 10:30 AM, reached Vardzia around 11:50 AM.

The caves, up in the mountains in Vardzia are impressive, there were so many caves, it looked like an entire community lived there in old times. I spent around 1:30 hours visiting the caves, it started raining heavily in the afternoon, came down from the caves and found a marshrutka for Akhaltsikhe, I sat in that.

The marshrutka departed at 3 PM, reached Akhaltsikhe at 4:30 PM, and took the marshrutka from Akhaltsikhe to Borjomi. Walked to my hostel, took some rest and ate food, in evening I walked to the lush green and very beautiful Borjomi Central Park. I must say it is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever visited, also tasted Borjomi Mineral Water inside the park.

Walked a few kilometers inside the park, after some time came back to my hostel and called it a day.
