I got up at 5 AM, and later walked to the nearby 7-Eleven store, drank a hot Thai milk tea. Got ready and walked to the office of Seatran Ferry, which was near my hostel. The girl at the counter told me that the ticket to Koh Samui costs 320 Baht and the bus to the Donsak pier leaves at 7:30 AM. I bought the ticket to Koh Samui island, it was already 7:10 AM

Quickly walked to a Krungthai Bank ATM and withdrew 5000 Baht as I was running out of cash. Went to my hostel to get my heavy backpack, checked-out from the Port hostel and walked to the office of Seatran Ferry. I reached their office at 7:25 AM, and boarded the bus to Donsak Pier, the bus departed at 7:32 AM.

I reached Donsak pier at 8:40 AM, the ferry to Koh Samui was scheduled to depart at 9 AM. After waiting for 10 minutes, the boarding to the ferry started, the ferry left from Donsak pier at 9 AM. It was a very good ferry, at the ground deck vehicles were parked to be taken to Koh Samui island. The middle deck was for passengers and the top deck had the best view of the sea. The ferry ride was beautiful, there was also one small shop inside the ferry to buy food items and drinks.

The ferry reached Nathon Pier at Koh Samui at 11:50 AM. I still had not booked my stay in Koh Samui, it was hard to decide where to stay in Koh Samui, close to the Pier or beaches, and which particular beach. Finally I booked my stay at Chill Inn Lipa Noi Hostel, close to the Lipa Noi beach.

There is no Grab bike in Koh Samui, and the taxi was quite expensive, I paid 150 Baht for a bike ride to Chill Inn Lipa Noi hostel. Checked-in to hostel, took a shower and took a nap. Woke up and walked to a 7-Eleven store, bought some food items and drank a Thai milk tea. Walked to Lipa Noi beach, spent some time in the water, and the sunset view from Lipa Noi beach was beautiful. Walked back to my hostel, took a shower, ate food and went to bed.
