Travelling from Chiang Mai to Bangkok with Bangkok Bus Lines
I had to catch the bus from Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 3 to Bangkok at 10 AM. Got ready and checked-out from Green Sleep hostel, booked a Grab bike from the hostel to Chiang Mai Bus Terminal 3, reached the bus station around 9 AM. Showed my 12Go ticket voucher to the lady at the Bangkok Bus Lines counter, and she gave me the actual ticket.
Walked to the nearby 7-Eleven store, drank a hot Thai Milk tea and bought some food items for the long journey. The bus arrived at platform 1, boarded the bus, my seat was 8D, a window seat on the upper deck. There were very few people on the bus, around 60% of the seats were empty.
The bus picked and dropped passengers at the stops along the route e.g. Tak, Kamphaeng Phet, Nakhon Sawan and others. I reached Mochit Bus Terminal also known as Bangkok Bus Terminal at 8:15 PM. After exiting the bus terminal, took the bus number 96 to reach Mo Chit BTS station. Took the BTS from Mo Chit BTS station to Ratchathewi BTS station, and walked from Ratchathewi BTS station to Timber hostel.
Checked-in to Timber hostel and went out to eat, I was very hungry. I got three Beef Mataba and Chicken with rice packed for my dinner, came back to the hostel and enjoyed the food.
