Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai
Got up, drank tea, later walked to the nearby 7-Eleven store and drank a hot Thai Milk tea. I wanted to go to Doi Suthep, got ready and booked a Grab bike to Chiang Mai University. Just a little ahead of Chiang Mai University gate, there were a couple of Songthaew lined up, to go to Doi Suthep.
There were two students already waiting there, so in total we were just three people. After waiting for some time two more people came, the official price for one person to Doi Suthep was 50 Baht, I paid 100 Baht for the ride to Doi Suthep. It was an uphill ride with a lot of hairpin turns.
There were many locals and tourists, who came to visit the temple. On the way back to Chiang Mai, I decided to walk all the way down. It took me around 2:30 hours to walk down from the top, the asphalt road has beautiful turns.
When I reached down, I booked a Grab bike to Masjid Hidayatul Islam Banhaw, ate Beef stew with rice at a shop. Then I walked to a Burmese restaurant nearby and drank tea. Walked to my hostel and took rest.
