Independence Palace a.k.a. Reunification Palace, Ho Chi Minh City (Unfortunately I couldn't go inside as it was closed)
In the morning I walked to Musa Karim restaurant for breakfast, and also booked my ticket to Da Lat from Futa bus office at 205 Pham Ngu Lao street. Took 2000,000 VND from a BIDV bank atm, paid 290,000 VND for the bus ticket from HCMC to Da Lat.
Returned back to the hostel, took some rest and then got ready to visit the Independence Palace, but when I reached there at 1 PM it was closed for the day. The weather was very hot in Saigon, I ate my lunch at Hjh Basiroh restaurant, after lunch got a Coconut Lotus with Pandan cream from 7-eleven, and walked back to my hostel and took rest.
In the evening I ate at Musa Karim restaurant, Pho Bo and a couple of cups of very good Teh tarik. Also tried the local Mango and it was very good. I had to catch the bus to Da Lat at midnight, checked-out from the Base backpackers hostel and walked to Futa bus office at 205 Pham Ngu Lao street.
Boarded the shuttle van which dropped all passengers at a bus stop, Futa Busline operates a significant number of buses, in just 10 minutes I saw around 4 buses leaving for Da Lat. I had to repeatedly ask one of the operators at the bus stop, If I should board this bus. Finally after waiting for around 45 minutes, my bus to Da Lat arrived, boarded the bus and went to sleep.
